    1. Day 1 Arrival Entebbe – Kampala

      After your arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be met by one of our representatives and transferred to Kampala. (Approx. 1.5 hrs. drive) Drop off at Cassia Lodge for dinner and then overnight.

    2. Day 2 Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park

      An early morning departure will see you leave Kampala and head north towards Murchison Falls National Park through the famous Luwero Triangle. The first stop on the safari will be at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for where you will be able to Rhino Trek. This incredible experience enables you to get up close with the endangered Rhino’s which are protected and cared for in the sanctuary. After a lunch stopover at Masindi, the safari will continue on to Murchison Falls National Park. Your first excursion will be to visit to the top of the Murchison Falls, where you will get to see and feel the power of the falls. You will then complete your day by checking in at Paraa Safari Lodge. B,L,D

    3. Day 3 Murchison Falls National Park – game drive and boat ride

      Early morning games drive in the Northern Sector of Murchison Falls National Park. On a good day, you will be able to see animals such as Giraffes, Lions, Hartebeests, Elephants and Cape buffalo. After lunch, you can look forward to a boat cruise on the placid Victoria Nile to the bottom of the magnificent Murchison Falls where the Nile plunges through a narrow crevice over a 40 metre drop creating the amazing spectacle. The cruise enables you to see the Nile crocodile, pools of Hippo, Waterbucks Elephant and a variety of bird species. dinner and then overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge.

    4. Day 4 Murchison Falls National Park - Hoima Town

      After breakfast you will head south westwards to Hoima Town. This will act as a midway stopping point between Murchison Falls National Park and Kibale Forest National Park. This town offers an authentic view of what life in small town in Uganda is like. There is an interesting blend of rural and town life which you will not get to see anywhere else in Uganda. Hoima Town is right is the principal city of the Bunyoro Region where oil was recently discovered. Overnight at Hoima Cultural Lodge B, L D.

    5. Day 5 Hoima Town - Kibale Forest National Park

      After breakfast you will head south westwards to Kibale Forest National Park. You will travel towards the picturesque Fort Portal area then on to Kibale where incredible crater lakes that beautifully punctuate the scenery. An afternoon arrival in Kibale allows you to relax ready for chimp trekking tomorrow. Dinner and then overnight at Ndali Lodge.

    6. Day 6 Chimp trekking in Kibale Forest

      The day for your chimp trekking experience has arrived! The trek normally lasts for 2-4 hours and will also highlight the diversity of different animals and plant species within the forest. Chimpanzees are the main attraction, of which five groups have been partially habituated. The guided walk is along well marked tracks and a distance of 3km to 5km is covered. In the afternoon you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park and overnight at Park View Safari Lodge.

    7. Day 7 Queen Elizabeth National Park

      The following day will begin with a morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park’s rich diverse ecosystem of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. Look out for buffaloes, lions, elephants and other wild life in their natural habitat. After lunch you can look forward to an amazing boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. This is a home of a variety of water birds, hippos, elephants, buffaloes and waterbucks can be sighted as they bathe and drink water at the water edge. Crocodiles are occasionally sighted along the channel banks. Dinner and overnight at Park View Safari Lodge.

    8. Day 8 Queen Elizabeth - Bwindi Forest National Park

      After breakfast you will transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park via southern Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park in search for the rare tree climbing lions. You will arrive at your destination in time for a relaxing evening. Dinner and then overnight at Mahogany Springs Lodge.

    9. Day 9 Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

      After breakfast you will take a short drive to the park headquarters for a Gorilla Trekking briefing. You will then be ready for one of the highlights of this safari! There are eleven habituated gorilla groups spread across the four sectors of Bwindi. Each tourist group is made up of a maximum of ten people who go trekking to find one of the eleven gorilla groups. An advance group of trackers locates the gorillas ahead of time and communicates back to the tourist groups. The communication between the advance party and the tourist group continues until the gorillas stay in one place long enough for the tourists to catch up and spend time experiencing these wonderful primates in their natural habitat. Once contact is made with a gorilla group you are only allowed to observe them for one hour. This is to ensure that they don’t become too acclimatized to humans. Once the Gorilla Trek is over you will return to your lodge for a well earned rest. Dinner and then overnight at Mahogany Springs Lodge.

    10. Day 10 Bwindi – Lake Mburo National Park

      Breakfast at the lodge. You will head east after breakfast with packed lunches to Lake Mburo National Park with a brief stop at Igongo Cultural Museum, rich with the tradition and heritage of western Uganda. Arrive in time for the evening boat trip on Lake Mburo. This will offer you a diversity of animal and plant species: crocodiles, hippos and birds including Pelicans, Black Crake and Heron. Dinner and overnight at Mihingo Safari Lodge.

    11. Day 11 Departure

      An early morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park will give you a chance to see large herds of Zebra, Impala, Gigantic Eland, Topis and a variety of bird species. Return to the lodge for a late breakfast. Have an early lunch at the lodge and transfer back to Entebbe. End of services.
