Nyungwe Primates Tour
Nyungwe forest is a tropical rain forest which protects a variety of chimpanzees and other primates like the white and black Columbus, vervet monkeys and a variety of plants, colorful butterflies and birds can be spotted. Activities encountered include: the chimpanzee trekking, canopy walk, nature walk, bird watching is awesome!
Day 01 Kigali-Nyungwe Forest
After breakfast from your hotel, transfer to Nyungwe forest National Park and before your reach take en-route stop to some interesting cultural sites, museums, Rwanda genocide memorial centre. Have lunch en-route. Proceed to the park for an evening tea plantation nature walk and thereafter retire at Nyungwe forest lodge, Nyungwe Hill Top View hotel or Gisakura Guest House for dinner and overnight.
Day 02 Nyungwe Chimpanzee Tracking
Have early morning breakfast, meet at the park head quarters for the briefing from the park officials and thereafter enter into the jungle to search for the chimps. This experience is unforgettable as the forest offers not only the chimps but also others primates, plants, variety of birds and colourful butterflies.
Among the primates includes: the white and black Columbus, vervet monkey and manageably primates. Return to lodge for lunch and thereafter spend the evening enjoying the canopy walk which provides clear opportunity to view the forest canopies with closure view of the more primates, birds, colourful butterflies and floras.
Return to lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 03 Nyungwe Forest-Kigali
After breakfast, move for another unforgettable activity- canopy walk; take another nature in the forest to spot more primates and bird species. The canopy walk will provide you a great opportunity of viewing a variety of bird species.
Return to the lodge for lunch and drive to Kigali with en-route stopover to other cultural sites to shop curious and after drive to the airport for your return flight.
